Anyone looking to become a better, safer and more confident driver should consider one of our driving courses.  Taught in partnership with Drive-For-Life Driving School, the program features three courses:  Teen, High Performance and Winter Driving.
 

TEEN DRIVING

Sponsored by West Bend Mutual Insurance Co

The teen driving program goes beyond typical drivers' education by putting participants in common emergency situations while in a safe, controlled, off-street environment. Participants practice collision avoidance techniques that include: emergency lane changes, braking, skid control and a variety of other fundamental car control drills. A valid driver's license or learner's permit is required.

Participants are allowed to use their own vehicles (cars only) if they wish and parents are highly encouraged to participate with their teen.

 

HIGH PERFORMANCE DRIVING

The high performance program teaches the physics and dynamics of precision driving.  Participants learn advanced car control techniques through intense drills involving braking, cornering and acceleration. The program includes a variety of autocross courses and a tour of the 4-mile road course. A valid driver's license is required.

Participants are allowed to use their own vehicles.

OFF ROAD DRIVING

As the masses descend on America's most colorful country roads this season here in the Midwest, why not try an alternate route? Autumn's gold-and-yellow leaf show is just as breathtaking from a Can-AM side-by-side off road vehicle—and fantastically free of those distracting red taillights.  Experience Road America - The National Park of Speed through the Off-Road Driving Experience.  Two different tours exist for individuals who want to take it all in.

 

 

The Fall-Foliage Tour offers guests the chance to see more than just the changing trees. On the nearly three-hour-long outing through our back country trails, passengers often see photo-worthy wildlife like turkeys and red foxes and our staff occasionally points out favorite areas along the route to demonstrate how to catch the perfect photo for your family and friends to enjoy.

 

The Drop into Darkness Tour gives people an unforgettable and unique opportunity to experience Road America's wonderful wooded terrain in the late evening hours and on into the dead of night.  Guests are often treated to glimpses of nocturnal wildlife in its own environment in one of Wisconsin's most beautiful locations.

Let our experienced guides take you to another world around America’s National Park of Speed and let them treat you to some interesting facts on the history and significance that Road America has in the area and yes each program can’t be complete without an on track tour of what makes Road America famous.   $75 per person (double occupancy)

All Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and parental consent.  Passengers must be at least 12 years of age with parental consent.

WINTER DRIVING

The Winter driving program will immerse participants in Winter driving conditions. Winter driving in the Midwest can be unpredictable, much like the weather. Customized in-car drills and classroom lessons will cover skid control / recovery, braking and emergency lane changes on a variety of pavement conditions, which could include ice, snow and mixed conditions.

 

This program is ideal for drivers looking to sharpen their Winter car control skills or new drivers looking to gain valuable experience. A vaild driver's license or learner's permit is required.

 

Participants are allowed to use their own cars.

 

School-supplied cars: Chevrolet Cruze, Impala, Malibu or similar

 

Price: $300 per person (school-supplied vehicle)
$250 per person (participant-supplied vehicle)
