ELKHART LAKE, Wis., – July 7, 2026 – More than 400 vintage and historic racecars will bring a century of motorsports history to life during the WeatherTech Vintage Weekend with Brian Redman, July 16-19, at Road America.

One of the largest vintage racing events in the United States, the four-day weekend gives fans the rare opportunity to see legendary racecars where they belong: at speed on Road America’s historic 4-mile, 14-turn circuit.

The event brings together everything from prewar and early postwar machines to historic sports racers, production cars, Formula cars, prototypes, American stock cars, and modern GT machinery. Fans will experience the sights, sounds, and stories of nearly 100 years of racing history in one place.

All American Racers and Dan Gurney Eagles Take Center Stage

The 2026 event will feature the cars of All American Racers, including a special reunion of Dan Gurney Racing Eagles.

The gathering will honor one of the most respected names in American motorsports and bring together a collection of cars that helped define several generations of racing. Fans will have the opportunity to see these machines on display and on track during dedicated All-American Racers sessions throughout the weekend.

The reunion will include a featured Eagle and Gurney track session on Sunday afternoon, offering fans a rare chance to hear and see these historic cars running on one of America’s most celebrated road courses.

Trans-American Championship Celebrates 60 Years

The weekend will also salute the 60th anniversary of the Trans-American Championship with a special invitational featuring Trans Am racecars from 1966 through 2020.

The gathering is expected to form one of the most complete Trans Am lineups ever assembled. The championship groups will be divided into cars over and under 2.5 liters, reflecting the wide range of machinery that has shaped the series throughout its history.

The special Trans Am groups will compete Sunday afternoon, adding another major chapter to a weekend built around American racing history.

Historic Racecars Take Over Downtown Elkhart Lake

The Road America Concours d’Elegance presented by Bring a Trailer returns to downtown Elkhart Lake on Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18, from 6 to 8 p.m.

On Friday evening, vintage racecars will leave Road America and parade into Elkhart Lake before lining the streets of the historic village. Fans can see the cars up close, meet competitors, take photos, and experience racecars that are rarely seen outside museums and private collections.

Saturday evening will feature a separate display of luxury, exotic, and high-performance sports cars. The Saturday event does not include a parade, but it offers another impressive collection of vehicles throughout downtown Elkhart Lake.

Both evenings are open to race fans, residents, visitors, and anyone who appreciates automotive design and history.
