ELKHART LAKE, Wis., - In an effort to stay aligned with the tradition of the event, while ensuring that both fans and competitors are safe during these uncertain times, Road America has decided to host its popular racecar and sports car Concours d’Elegance events on the grounds at the expansive, 640-acre outdoor facility, while encouraging everyone to comply with local guidelines; such as social distancing, hand washing or using hand sanitizer stations, and wearing cloth face coverings when social distancing is difficult to maintain.

Active First Responders Receive FREE Entry With ID
Alexander Rossi left his IndyCar Series colleagues in the Road America dust in 2019, leading a record 54 of 55 laps in the REV Group Grand Prix presented by AMR.
Rossi gained the lead on Turn 1 from pole-sitter Colton Herta and never looked back. It was the best result in four IndyCar appearances at the track for the Andretti Autosport driver, who finished 28.491 seconds ahead of runner-up Will Power.

With the cancellation of many historic concours, gatherings and vintage race events across America due to COVID-19, Road America has recently announced that early registration will remain open until July 7th for the WeatherTech International Challenge with Brian Redman, July 23-26. The registration extension allows all competitors who are looking to compete at what is widely regarded as the largest vintage racing event in North America.

The Plymouth Advancement Association, Inc., is proud to announce a fireworks show on July 4th entitled “Road America Fire Fest - One Community, One Purpose” as a tribute to the strength and resilience demonstrated by residents of Sheboygan County and their efforts to keep each other safe. The show will be the largest fireworks display ever in the Sheboygan County area and will begin around 9:30 p.m.

ELKHART LAKE, Wis., May 21, 2020 - The stars of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES will return to Road America for an incredible doubleheader weekend, July 9-12, as the INDYCAR REV Group Grand Prix Presented by AMR will now host two races and two LIVE broadcasts on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12 – networks and times are yet to be determined. The new weekend was unveiled today as part of INDYCAR’s updated 2020 schedule announcement.

Local Manufacturer to Supply New Sneeze Guards for Various Locations Around the Facility
ELKHART LAKE, Wis., May 14, 2020 - Road America
announced today that longstanding partner CTECH Manufacturing,
based in Weston, Wis., plans to supply the 640-acre facility with
a new layer of protection – sneeze guards – for use in high-touch
common areas to help keep Road America safe during the 2020 race
season. The protective polycarbonate screens will stand between a
customer and an employee to provide an added layer of safety at
ticketing locations, concessions, and the Paddock Shop.
ROAD AMERICA PARTNERS WITH GUY & O’NEILL FOR CLEANING AND SANITIZING PRODUCTS
Local Manufacturer to Supply Disinfecting Wipes for America’s National Park of Speed
Road America announced today that Guy & O’Neill Inc., a manufacturer of household cleaning supplies, automotive cleaning supplies, and personal care products, based in Fredonia, Wis., has agreed to supply the 640-acre facility with its line of Clean Cut disinfecting wipes for use in high-touch common areas to help keep Road America safe during the 2020 race season. Guy & O’Neill’s Clean Cut disinfecting wipes are proven to kill 99.9% of bacteria in 15 seconds and cut through tough grease.
Road America Releases 2020 Season Schedule
Season Passes and Event Tickets Are Now Available
Road America’s President and General Manager, Mike Kertscher, announced Road America’s 2020 season schedule today. The four-mile, 14-turn road course will host 11 racing weekends throughout the 2020 season, with a number of weekends encompassing several series’ providing non-stop action.
Ron Pace Will Become New Chairman of Board of Directors for Road America
The Board of Directors of Elkhart Lake’s Road America Inc., have announced that in connection with the planned and ongoing succession process, Chairman of the Board, Jonathan Laun, will retire his position at the end of 2019. During a regularly scheduled meeting, the directors expressed their gratitude to Mr. Laun for his many contributions to Road America and subsequently unanimously appointed Ron Pace, as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of Elkhart Lake’s Road America Inc., while appointing Laun as Treasurer. Pace will serve as Chairman Elect until January 1, 2020.
Henry Repeating Arms Becomes Title Sponsor for 2020 Nascar Xfinity Race at Road America
Road America and Henry Repeating Arms have reached an agreement naming Henry Repeating Arms as the title sponsor of the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at America’s National Park of Speed. The event will be called the Henry 180, held August 8, 2020, on the world-renowned 4-mile, 14-turn road course.
