GT WORLD CHALLENGE AMERICA BRINGS GLOBAL SPORTS CAR RACING AND FAMILY FUN TO ROAD AMERICA
World-class GT competition, five supporting series and fan activities fill the property August 28-30
ELKHART LAKE, Wis. – Aug. 18, 2026 – The sights and sounds of international sports car racing return to Road America August 28-30, when GT World Challenge America brings an impressive field of exotic machinery and top driving talent to America’s National Park of Speed.
Fans will see GT3, GT4 and touring cars from Acura, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche tackle Road America’s legendary four-mile, 14-turn circuit. The weekend is headlined by two 90-minute GT World Challenge America races featuring driver changes, full-service pit stops and close competition.
The schedule also includes GT America powered by AWS, Toyota Gazoo Racing North America GR Cup, Pirelli GT4 America, McLaren Trophy America and TC America powered by Skip Barber, creating nearly nonstop sports car action throughout the weekend.
Beyond the famed 4-mile circuit, fans can explore racing in nearly every form. RC competitors will battle with detailed, high-performance scale race cars in the North Paddock. Power Wheels racing brings a fun mix of drag racing and head-to-head competition on a coned road course. At the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex, Road America Karting Club racers will compete wheel to wheel on Saturday, while Porsche Club of America drivers test their precision and speed during Sunday’s autocross.
Families can also play Road America’s free 18-hole disc golf course, shop for event merchandise at the Paddock Shop, enjoy popular food and beverage options, and use the event shuttle to explore the scenic 640-acre property.
Kids ages 16 and younger receive free general admission with a paying adult at the gate. With campsites available, families can turn race weekend into a memorable summer getaway.
