Road America offers three opportunities to learn how to ride
exclusively on
YAMAHA Zuma 125 scooters. Scooter-specific Basic Rider Courses will take place on
May 28, July 23 and October 8, 2022. Advanced registration is
required.
Step 1:
Register for the BRC – Scooter.
Step 2: Register for the 3-hour MSF online course. This online
course must be completed BEFORE the first day of your Road
America Basic Rider Course.
Step 3: Save and print your MSF Certificate of
Completion. The MSF Certificate of Completion must be
presented to your RiderCoach when you arrive in order to
participate. Certificates expires after 30 days, so complete

regarding the online course should be directed to: MSF Basic eCourse.
Step 4: Participate in 6 hours of classroom
activities and discussion, plus 10 hours of practical riding on

off-street ranges. Road America will provide a new,
easy-to-handle motorcycle such as the YAMAHA scooters for course
work.
Step 5: Receive a DOT Waiver upon successful
completion of the BRC that provides exemption from the WI MIT
(Motorcycle-In-Traffic) road test.
Step 6: Pass the DMV written test at any WI DMV
offices and obtain your Class M license endorsement!

Customer Satisfaction Promise
The Road America Motorcycle School is designed specifically to
maximize the fun and minimize the risk of motorcycling. With a
pass rate of over 96% the success rate is great however, on
occasion, a participant may have an “off day.” With that in mind,
we have created the Customer Satisfaction Promise. In the event a
participant fails any one of our MSF-designated courses, they
will be allowed to return to retake the full class at a later
date for a minimal rescheduling fee of $100. For those that
simply need to retake the skills test(riding) portion, a private
retest option can also be made available for $80.
Minors
Minors participating in the course MUST have a parent’s or legal
guardian’s signature on our Waiver & Indemnification
Form. You can take care of this in advance by having it
signed by the parent or legal guardian AND NOTARIZED before the
class, or a parent or legal guardian MUST be present at the
beginning of the first day of class to sign the waiver in the
presence of a Road America staff member. No minors will be
allowed to participate without the properly completed and signed
waiver.
Please review our School
Policies before registering for any classes.
