The Sunset Cruise is a relaxed, low-speed driving experience that lets you enjoy three scenic laps of Road America’s iconic four-mile road course as the sun dips toward the horizon.

Whether you’re a car lover, a family looking for something special, or someone who’s always wanted to be on the track without competition, this is your moment to savor the sights, sounds, and atmosphere of one of the country’s most legendary circuits.

Sunset Cruises are offered on select dates from May through September.
Space is limited. Advance registration is required.

Smile — You’re On Track!  Road America Studios be capturing professional on-track photos of your vehicle during the cruise.

That means real track shots — your car, truck, van, SUV or motorcycle cruising on track at sunset. Digital Downloadable Photos will be available for purchase after the event, giving you a keepsake that’s far better than a cell phone snapshot in the paddock.

Event Requirements:

• All participants must complete an online waiver
• Driver must have a valid driver’s license
• Passengers (including minors with a guardian) allowed with proper seating and seat belts
• Trucks, motorcycles, SUVs, and vans permitted (max height 8 ft)
• Vehicle must have at least ½ tank of fuel
• Motorcycle riders must be 16+ (helmets encouraged)

Arrival & Schedule:

• Arrive 5:15–5:45 p.m. at the Main Gate
• Follow directions for staging lanes. ( restrooms nearby ) 
• Mandatory drivers’ meeting at 6:00 p.m.
  • September 26th Sunset Cruise meeting at 5:30pm
• Road America license plate holders line up directly behind the pace car!

On Track Rules:

All drivers are expected to operate their vehicles in a responsible manner. Any driver deemed a danger to themselves or others will be immediately removed from the track.

• NO passing is allowed, all vehicles must maintain safe distance to the vehicle ahead. 
• NO exceeding the max speed of 35 mph.
• No Stopping or holding back.
• NO switching of drivers or passengers during the event.
• If you behave, we’ve been known to lose count of the laps. :) 
• If you have a mechanical, please pull over, 4 way flashers on, and stay in the vehicle until assistance arrives.
