Trackside Electric Motorhome
Location: Zone 5 (1101-1122)
& Zone 6 / South of front straight grandstand and VIP
tower, inside Turn 1
Site Size: 20′ x 40′
Amenities: Electric (50 amp); no water
hookups; two dumpsites on the property; located on compact
gravel.
These premium sites offer spectacular trackside viewing. Sites

Trackside Non-Electric Motorhome
Location: Zones 2-5 / Trackside areas
around the track, 10 feet from trackside safety fence
Site Size: 25′ x 40′ or 20′ x 40′ (vary per
location)
Amenities: No electrical or water hookups;
two dumpsites on the property; grass areas.

Non-Trackside Electric Motorhome
Location: Zone 6 / Front straight south of the
grandstand/VIP tower
Site Size: 20′ x 40′
Amenities: Electric (50 amp); no water
hookups; two dumpsites on the property; located on compact
gravel.
These sites are located on the front straight south of the
grandstand/VIP tower. Sites are marked and must be reserved in
advance.
Non-Trackside Motorhome
Location: Zone 2-5 & 8 / One row behind
trackside motorhome sites at least 75 ft from safety fence
Site Size: 20′ x 40′
Amenities: No electrical or water hookups;
two dumpsites on the property. Sites are marked and must be
reserved in advance.
Tent or Pop-Up Areas
Location: Zones 1-4
Site Size: 20′ x 40′
Amenities: Permanent restrooms/showers,
concessions; no electrical or water hookups. Sites are
marked and must be reserved in advance.
Non-Electric & Tent or Pop-Up Overflow
Location: Zone 7
Site Size: 20′ x 40′
Amenities: Overflow only when all other
motorhome and tent sites are sold; no electrical or water
hookups. Sites must be reserved in advance.
Camping Event Access
For all individuals over the age of 16, there are three
components that must be purchased in order to camp at Road
America:
- Weekend event ticket
- Camping wristband
- Campsite (up to 6/site including children under 16)
Road America is open for camping on non-public weekends from
May
through September. Road America’s 640-acres of natural
rolling terrain includes nature trails, disc golf,
and 4 Miles of Fitness – where you can walk, bike, or
run around the 4-mile racetrack. The grounds are close
to fishing areas, golf courses, and boating areas in
beautiful Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. There will be on track
activities during non-public racing weekends, so expect to hear
racing activity throughout the weekend.
Activities for Campers

NASCAR and IMSA race
weekends.

Disc Golf: Test your skills on our
18-hole disc golf course on the Road America property. The
front nine holes begin across from Gearbox concessions in the
paddock. The back nine holes are located west of the
Sargento Bridge, toward the Briggs and Stratton
Motorplex. Disc rentals are available in the Paddock Shop.
Disc golf is available during all public racing events.

Public Karting: Ages 14 and
over, with a parent or guardian over the age of 18, can enjoy
Road America’s public karting course. This is located
at the Road America Motorplex, infield over the Johnsonville
Bridge near turns 7 and 8.
General Information
- Each camper over the age of 16, must purchase a Full
Event Ticket (even after racing has concluded for the day)
and a Camping Wristband. 16 and under is free with paying
adult.
- Over 1,000 on-site spaces are available to accommodate
your camping preferences. Drive your vehicle right to your site.
If it doesn’t fit in your site space, additional parking is
available throughout the property.
- Five permanent restrooms/shower locations are placed
throughout the property in addition to portable
bathrooms. Additional shower units are brought in based on
demand. Use of the showers is a complimentary service provided
to event guests.
- Over 14 concession stands serving delicious food for our
public events. Specific locations are open based on demand.

Paddock Shop
sells camping and event necessities
like ice, toiletries, umbrellas, and other clothing
like sweatshirts, hats and t-shirts.
- The facility is pet-friendly, but all pets need to be on a
leash at all times and cleaned up after. Pets are not
allowed in any Road America buildings or the Paddock.
- All fires must be off-ground. Campers are welcome to bring
portable fire pits and grills.
- Canopies, Tents, and/or E-Z Up’s that are placed in spectator
areas are not to block spectator viewing and are not to be left
on the property overnight. Canopies, Tents, and/or E-Z Ups must
be a least 10 feet from the fence and cannot be tied to any Road
America property. Any tent left overnight will be removed by
security. No large party tents are allowed unless prior
arrangements have been made through the hospitality team.
- No personal golf cart allowed on Road America property unless
you are a season pass holder with a pit vehicle pass.

Camper pumping and freshwater service will be done daily between
10 a.m.—4 p.m. during on-site hours. Sign-up must be
done prior to 10 a.m. for same-day service, all others will be
done the following day.
