Road America fans often ask, “How do I get on track?”. The iconic 4.048-mile racetrack is available for rentals and unique Road America program offerings like Sunset Cruising, and Morning Drives. Car clubs, motorcycle clubs, and even karting clubs are frequent visitors to the Road America track. Road America offers numerous programs to give access to the public to experience America’s National Park of Speed.

Join Road America and experience the thrill of driving your own high-performance or track-prepared vehicles appropriate for non-competitive track day use on one of North America’s greatest road courses. The Track Day program focuses on fun, learning, and performance driving in a safe, non-competitive environment. This is not a timed event. All drivers must follow flag and passing rules; failure to do so may result in removal from the event. No trucks, no Vans, no SUVS, contact us if you’re unsure if your vehicle qualifies.

Test Days

Race event test days & 4 Mile Drivers Club Days

Get on track to test your race car as part of an already scheduled race weekend test day. Most of the larger track events at Road America have a traditional test day preceding them. These test days offer competitors the last-minute opportunity for final testing before a race event. Due to higher participation levels and multiple classing groups, availability is limited.

VIP Track Time for Advanced Drivers

The 4 Mile Drivers Club offers advanced drivers a curated set of benefits—and the rare opportunity to push their limits during exclusive track days that run through The Kink, clipping the same apexes as world-renowned competitors including Andretti, Villeneuve, Redman, Penske, Rahal, Gurney, and Hobbs.

4 Mile Drivers Club Days utilize the full 4-mile course, including The Kink, and are open to advanced drivers in both street and race cars. Non-members may register for single-event days. Full details are listed below.

Sunset Cruise

The Sunset Cruise is a relaxed, low-speed, three-lap drive around Road America’s legendary four-mile circuit—in your own vehicle. This experience offers a rare opportunity to enjoy one of the nation’s premier road courses at an unhurried pace, taking in the scenery, history, and atmosphere as the sun sets over the track.

Sunset Cruises are offered on select dates from May through September.
Space is limited. Advance registration is required.

Motorplex Open Track Days

Open Track Days Presented by Auto Select at the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex at Road America are the perfect opportunity to gain experience on either a motorcycle or kart. Track day participants are treated to plenty of track time without the pressure of organized racing. Track time is open to the public and is split evenly into run groups based on types of vehicles and experience levels.

From the novice driver to the experienced autocrosser, Road America’s Winter Autocross Series has a little something for everyone. Purchase a Winter Autocross Series Registration for all three dates or purchase the day-of individual event registration. Last year the past several series events SOLD OUT FAST, so get your registration in early.

The Road America SuperMoto Series is a select group of racers participating in the fastest growing form of competition on two wheels! The SuperMoto Series is comprised of two race groups: SuperMoto and Mini Bike.

Runs, Walks & Cycling

The 640-acre, park-like grounds offer an amazing setting for charity runs, walks, and cycling events for thousands of participants annually. Adrenaline junkies, novice cyclists and competitive athletes alike are certain to enjoy the thrill of pushing the limit on the world-renowned racetrack that is normally reserved for race cars. In addition to the track, Road America is equipped with several miles of walking paths and trails through the natural wooded terrain ideal for cross-country and endurance challenges.

Road America Sno-Drift

Sno-Drift at Road America is a winter open drift program designed for drivers who want real seat time in a safe, controlled environment. Held in the newly paved Turn 14 Paddock, drivers take advantage of a cleared 300’ x 200’ skidpad to practice car control and drifting while embracing winter conditions at one of North America’s most iconic tracks.
