An Incredible Assortment of Cars Featured at the WeatherTech International Challenge With Brian Redman Vintage Event

Historic Grand National and NASCAR Cars Recaptured Thrills of Eras Past

Article

ELKHART LAKE, Wis., - July 18, 2021 – The WeatherTech International Challenge with Brian Redman at Road America concluded after four days of excellent vintage racing action, exhibitions, Concours, awards, and activities for fans. The event has been heralded as one of the most significant vintage racing events in the country. 2021 ushered in historic Grand National and NASCAR cars as the featured marque.

The cars, driven mainly by drivers who are undeniably passionate about their sport, were the main attraction. Unlike other events where spectators might be separated from stars who take the stage, car lovers milled through the paddock area, telling stories with owners and drivers and swapping insight with other enthusiasts.

The famed race car driver, Brian Redman, served as the Grand Marshall for the event and had nothing but praise for the mid-summer tradition. “This is a fantastic event,” commented Redman, who has been coming to the track almost every year since 1972. “Without question, Road America has turned into the finest road racing facility in North America.”
