Lamers Driving Experience Raises Over $100,000 at Road America, Surpassing $750,000 in Lifetime Contributions

ELKHART LAKE, Wis., – June 25, 2025 – Road America proudly announces another successful year of partnership with the Lamers Foundation, having hosted the 2025 Lamers Driving Experience. This year’s event raised over $100,000, setting a record. This impressive milestone brings the total funds raised over the event’s history to more than $750,000, benefiting numerous children’s charities throughout Northeastern Wisconsin.

The Lamers Driving Experience offers automotive enthusiasts a thrilling opportunity to drive their own vehicles at speed around Road America’s iconic 4.048-mile racetrack. Participants not only enjoy a memorable day of high-speed excitement but also directly support critical charitable causes, positively impacting the lives of children in the region.

Funds raised from the Lamers Driving Experience directly benefit several important community initiatives, continuing the legacy and mission established in honor of Denny Lamers. Beneficiaries include the ThedaCare Family of Foundations’ FOCUS event, impacting over 5,000 Appleton Area High School students with safe driving education; the Boys and Girls Club, providing essential after-school programs; Valley Kids Foundation, Inc., which enhances the lives of children throughout the Fox Valley area; Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, supporting pediatric healthcare and research; and the Denny Lamers Scholarship, which provides educational opportunities at Fox Valley Technical College for students in need.

Additionally, the event has enabled direct assistance to families facing significant challenges, such as covering medical expenses and essential living costs, further reflecting the profound community impact achieved through this event.
