ELKHART LAKE, Wis., May 14, 2020 - Road America
announced today that longstanding partner CTECH Manufacturing,
based in Weston, Wis., plans to supply the 640-acre facility with
a new layer of protection – sneeze guards – for use in high-touch
common areas to help keep Road America safe during the 2020 race
season. The protective polycarbonate screens will stand between a
customer and an employee to provide an added layer of safety at
ticketing locations, concessions, and the Paddock Shop.
“We are continuing to make improvements and adhere to best practices for sanitization, social distancing protocols, and personal protection requirements for our staff and the facility. Placing sneeze guards at key locations is another way that Road America is helping bring peace of mind that we are doing everything we can to keep everyone safe,” said Mike Kertscher, Road America’s President and General Manager.
For those unaware, CTECH Manufacturing is Road America’s official cart, cabinet, and drawer provider, and increased its presence in 2017 by becoming the title sponsor for Road America’s Motorplex: a world-class, multi-use, multi-configuration one-mile track used by the Road America Karting Club and the Road America Supermoto School. Road America also uses the CTECH Manufacturing Motorplex facility for numerous auto manufacturers’ new car introductions, ride-and-drive events, driving schools, media, and group event-based programs.
CTECH Manufacturing’s custom-designed aluminum carts, cabinets, and drawer systems are also utilized at various locations around the facility. Providing an opportunity for fans and racers to see firsthand the latest CTECH Manufacturing innovations and exciting products that CTECH Manufacturing has to offer.
“We initially chose Road America because it is the perfect place where our brand can thrive and grow and our new sneeze guards are the perfect solution to an ever-growing issue of keeping people safe,” said Dean Lee, Business Manager / VP for CTECH Manufacturing. “With personal safety and social distancing being the new normal, businesses will be expected to protect everyone and provide new safety solutions. We figure why not do it in style with a CTECH Manufacturing sneeze guard. We also offer custom sizing, mounting solutions, and branding available for quantity orders upon request our polycarbonate sneeze guards are also easier to keep clean and sanitized than plexiglass. We are thrilled that we get to showcase our passion, pride, and products at Road America and equally inspired in creating new solutions for safety.”
