Overview

The Off-Road Driving Experience takes participants on an unforgettable journey through the rugged, wooded terrain of Road America’s 640-acre property.

Road America’s UTV trail riding experience utilizes Yamaha Wolverine RMAX Series and Yamaha Viking side by sides over various types of terrain. The UTV trail ride lasts over two hours and includes a wide variety of wooded terrain that is full of hills, large rocks, logs, and, weather permitting, mud.

The Off-Road Driving Experience at Road America runs rain or shine, so bring extra clothing in the event that inclement weather should occur. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Over-the-ankle boots, with good grips on the soles (heel not to exceed 1.5″)
  • Long pants
  • Full-fingered gloves (preferably leather)
  • Long-sleeved shirt or jacket
  • DOT-approved helmet with eye protection (use a Road America helmet or bring your own)
  • Valid driver’s license for 18+, valid driver’s license and parental consent for 16-17 year olds
  • Passengers must be at least 12 years of age with parental consent

*Participants are allowed to reserve individual machines by purchasing both seats.

Dirt Bike Courses

Enjoy going off-road? The Road America Motorcycle School offers Dirt Bike 1 and Dirt Bike 2 courses. Dirt Bike School coaches will teach you basic riding skills and responsible riding practices, including risk management and environmental awareness. Bring your own dirt bike or learn on one of our YAMAHA TT-R125 dirt bikes!
