The Fanatec GT World Challenge America headlines an all sportscar weekend at Road America August 19-21, 2022. This weekend of thrilling sportscar racing will bring exotic GT3 machinery from global luxury auto brands like Acura, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, and Porsche to America’s National Park of Speed in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. These performance racing machines will take to the popular 4-mile, 14-turn road race circuit as part of a world wide racing series spanning Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America. The SRO GT World Challenge at Road America will showcase two 90-min races featuring full-service pit stops, driver changes, and non-stop excitement on Saturday and Sunday.

In addition, the weekend schedule will feature the Pirelli GT4 America, GT America, & TC America powered by Skip Barber for a jam-packed weekend of elite sportscar racing.

Bring the entire family out to experience the Fanatec GT World Challenge live and in-person at Road America! Kids 16 and under get free general admission to all Road America season racing events with a paying adult at the gate. Make it a weekend of affordable fun by camping on-site on one of Road America’s 1,000+ campsites

GT World Challenge Parade & Welcome Party

Kick off the Fanatec GT World Challenge Weekend on Thursday, August 18! Watch the GT3, GT4, TC and special display cars parade from Road America to Siebkens Resort in downtown Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. The racecar parade will leave Road America at 5 p.m. Enjoy live music, driver autograph sessions, outdoors bars and food & drink at Siebkens from 5-8 p.m. Racecars will exit and head back to Road America at 7:30 p.m.

Please read the RA Rules before arriving. Only licensed (by the Dept. of Motor Vehicle) vehicles are allowed on the property. Only foot traffic is allowed in the paddock.

Need help getting around at RA?

The Shuttle will run Friday through Sunday. Watch for the Shuttle flags at the pick-up points. Golf carts are also available for weekend rentals.

Many stands are cash-only. ATM are available on site, but please plan accordingly.

  • Front Nine: Tee #1 is located across from Gearbox concessions in the paddock.
  • Back Nine: Tee #10 located west of the Sargento Bridge, towards Motorplex
  • Rental discs are available in Paddock Shop.

Camping

campsites are still available and can be purchased at the gate during the event

Road America has over 1,000 sites throughout the property. Sites are approximately 20×40 and are on different surfaces such as grass, pavement, and gravel. Electrical sites come equipped with 50 amp service.

Campers when purchasing a campsite you will also need to purchase: 

  • Full event ticket (for everyone over the age of 16)
  • Camping wristband (for everyone over the age of 16)

​for all individuals who will be staying on the grounds during the event.  It is required that when purchasing a campsite, you purchase at least one full event ticket and one wristband with your purchase. 

Campsites do not have water hook-ups. However, Road America has potable water available in the Carousel.  We have two dump stations located in the Carousel and near Gate 6. Choose from Zone 1 (tent only), Zones 2-4 (tent & motorhome), and Zones 5-6 & 8 (motorhome only).
