The Event staff position is responsible for greeting customers, selling tickets, answering questions, providing security at locations, helping with parking and egress, and ensuring our guests are safe. This is a part-time seasonal worker from April – September.
Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:
As part of the team, you will be responsible for greeting and interacting with customers in a friendly and positive manner. Provide information and guidance to Road America guests and ensure they have the best experience possible at Road America. You may be handling cash transactions for customers purchasing admission tickets, validating tickets already purchased, and providing excellent customer service to guests by fielding inquiries as they enter our facility, securing the facility or specific locations, or assisting with credentials.
All candidates must be at least 16 years of age, must have the ability to work in a face-paced environment, excellent verbal communication skills, accurate handling of money and ticket stubs. Flexible scheduling is needed as shifts include days, weekend,s and holidays.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands. The employee is subject to the outside environment conditions such as cold weather or extreme heat. Also, subject to noise and fast-moving objects. Must have the ability to lift at least 25 lbs. occasionally.
Must be available to work Thursday through Sunday between the hours of 6:00 am – 6:00 pm on public race weekends and 5:00 am – 9:00 pm on major race weekends.
