Road America Track Days

Experience Road America Behind The Wheel of Your Car

Drive your own street performance or track-prepared car at Road America in a fun, safe, non-competitive environment. This is not a timed event—drivers must follow all flag and passing rules. No trucks, vans, or SUVs (contact us with questions).

Don’t have a performance car? Rent a RUSH SR track car through Diversion Motorsports (limited availability).

Dates & Registration

After registration closes online, walk-up registration will be permitted if space is available for an additional $50 per run group. Drivers who register for a run group they are not approved for will not be permitted on track.

 

RUSH SR Rental

Rush Experience Rental

  • $3300 – Includes the Track Day fee.
  • RUSH SR – Purpose Built Track car, single seater, 1100lbs, 145hp, standard transmission, massive fun factor, package includes session time, helmet, and race suit.
  • Rent during event registration.

Run Group Qualifications

  • Novice - if this is your first event, we highly recommend starting in the Performance Driving Schools. Novice Group is open to drivers who are just starting out or have not been signed off to drive solo yet (0 to 5 track events). Students who have participated in Performance Driving 1 & 2 move up to intermediate quicker. Novice Run Group is a lead follow format guided by intructors and includes classroom time.
  • Intermediate – 6 to 10 track days at this road course or equivalent road course and signed off to drive solo. If you do not qualify, you will not be permitted on track.
  • Advanced – Approved to run Advanced Run Group with Road America or an equivalent road course. Contact us if you are not sure.

Policies

Road America reserves the right to cancel the event at any time. Cancellations will typically be made at least 1 week prior to the event. No Passengers.  This event is for street cars, high-performance or track-prepared vehicles appropriate for non-competitive track day use No trucks, No vans, No SUVs​. Still not sure if your car qualifies, contact trackdays@roadamerica.com.  A valid driver’s license is required to drive on the Road America track. Convertibles must have factory-installed rollover protection or SCCA / NASA approved roll over protection in order to participate. Rental helmets are available at registration upon arrival.

    Drivers Perspective:

    Description: (Corvette Racing driver, Tommy Milner) – Turn 1 is very fast and very difficult because you are turning and braking simultaneously. I approach the first turn flat out in sixth gear, then downshift to fourth and use the access road on the left side as my braking reference. The key here is to carry the engine speed through the middle of the corner and then get back on the power hard.
