A mid-summer favorite, the WeatherTech® International Challenge with Brian Redman at Road America taking place July 14-17 is one of the largest vintage racing events in the United States. The WeatherTech® International Challenge road race features over 400 cars competing in several groups. The 2022 event at Road America will also feature a special All American Racers (AAR) Eagle racer reunion. AAR designed and built just 158 Eagle racing cars between 1965 and 2012. Come out to Road America to witness this impressive racing legacy.

Concours d’ Elegance

In addition to the WeatherTech International Challenge races, make time to attend the Road America Concours d’ Elegance in downtown Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16 from 6-8 p.m. Thousands of fans ascend upon Elkhart Lake each year to see a thrilling display of racecars and exotic sportscars throughout the historic downtown area. The Friday evening display will feature vintage racecars participating in the WeatherTech International Challenge weekend races, July 14-17, 2022. The Saturday evening showcase features luxury sports cars rarely seen otherwise. This spectacular display of high-performance race machines is a can’t miss event for any enthusiast or casual observer. Be sure to come out early and grab a bite to eat at one of Elkhart Lake’s premium dining establishments to beat the rush.

WeatherTech International Challenge Touring

Get an up-close look at Road America’s legendary race circuit from the comfort of your own car. This leisurely, low-speed touring activity on the rolling 4-mile track is offered 30 minutes prior to the event start on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It is the perfect opportunity for drivers, families, and friends of all ages to experience, first-hand, one of the country’s premier road-racing circuits. Advanced registration is required. 

Touring Registration 

With so much going on in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin this weekend consider camping on-site on one of Road America’s 1,000+ campsites. Kids 16 and under get free general admission to all Road America season racing events with a paying adult at the gate. Daily tickets start at just $20, so plan on bringing the entire family for non-stop racing excitement!

Please read the RA Rules before arriving.  Only licensed (by the Dept. of Motor Vehicle) vehicles are allowed on the property.  Only foot traffic is allowed in the paddock.

Need some help getting around at RA?

The TRAM will run Saturday and Sunday.  Watch for the TRAM flags at the pick-up points. Event attendees can also rent 2-, 4- or 6-passenger golf carts for the weekend starting at $375.

Public Karting

Ages 14 and older. A parent/guardian must be present if under 18.

Location: Briggs & Stratton Motorplex, infield over the Speedville Bridge, near Turns 7 and 8

Karts can reach speeds of up to 40 mph

Disc Golf

  • Front Nine: Tee #1 is located across from Gearbox concessions in the paddock.
  • Back Nine: Tee #10 located west of the Sargento Bridge, towards Motorplex

Rental discs are available in Paddock Shop.

Camping

Reserve your Campsite Here

Road America has over 1,000 sites throughout the property. Sites are approximately 20×40 and are on different surfaces such as grass, pavement, and gravel. Electrical sites come equipped with 50 amp service.

Campers when purchasing a campsite you will also need to purchase: 

  • Full event ticket (for everyone over the age of 16)
  • Camping wristband (for everyone over the age of 16)

​for all individuals who will be staying on the grounds during the event.  It is required that when purchasing a campsite, you purchase at least one full event ticket and one wristband with your purchase.

Campsites do not have water hook-ups. However, Road America has potable water available in the Carousel.  We have two dump stations located in the Carousel and near Gate 6.
