ELKHART LAKE, Wis., – January 12, 2021 - Road America officials recently announced that Henry Repeating Arms has renewed its title sponsorship for 2021, serving as sponsor for the NASCAR Xfinity Series 180 race. This year’s Henry 180 will run on Saturday, July 3. The event will air on NBC at 1:30 PM (CT). The official race hashtag will be #HENRY180.
Carrol Jensen Appointed to the Board of Directors for Road America
ELKHART LAKE, Wis., - December 17, 2020 - Elkhart Lake’s Road America Inc., recently announced the addition of Carrol Jensen to its Board of Directors. Jensen currently serves as Vice President of the Classic Car Club of America Museum and Events Chairman for the Masterpiece LTD automotive charity. Jensen’s appointment comes in succession to Robert Cornog’s retirement from the board after 22 years of exemplary service.

Road America Signs MG Tire As The Official Tire For The CTECH Manufacturing Motorplex

Road America Honors Founder With Life-Size Tribute
ELKHART LAKE, Wis., - October 9, 2020 - Road America today unveiled a new bronze statue of its founder, Clif Tufte, next to the center that bears his name located in the paddock area of the sprawling 640-acre facility that was conceptualized sixty-five years ago. Tufte, a highway engineer, put together the land and laid out the track in 1955 after racing on the public roads around Elkhart Lake became impractical for many reasons.

The 57th Annual SCCA National Championship Runoffs Takes Center Stage At Road America
ELKHART LAKE, Wis., - September 29, 2020 - Road racing champions will be crowned next week at Road America as drivers from around the country participate in the 57th running of the pinnacle amateur road-racing event in the U.S., the Sports Car Club of America® (SCCA®) National Championship Runoffs® October 9-11. The event determines the best drivers of the season within each of the 26 classes of competition and this year nearly 600 entries are expected, making the Runoffs the largest annual amateur road-racing event in the world.

ELKHART LAKE, Wis., - Aug. 5, 2020 - Road America and the Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs (MCSCC) announced today that its special Spec Miata 60-minute enduro Race to Save the Children event held on Sunday, August 2nd as part of the IMSA Sportscar weekend raised $3,200 for COVID-19 relief. The Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs accepted donations through participant registration, sold T-shirts and facemasks and $10 of every entry also went to bolster the charitable cause.

Road America Adds Spec Miatas To Event Schedule During IMSA Sportscar Weekend July 30 – August 2

Road America announced today that Spec Miata has been added to its IMSA Sportscar weekend July 30-August 2. Due to a busy on-track schedule for the weekend, Spec Miata racers will be eligible for the pre-event test day encompassing various racecars on Thursday, July 30, and will participate in a 30-min qualifying and a 60-minute race on Sunday, August 2. The Spec Miata addition is sanctioned by the Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs.
